PALESTINE GRILL – PEACE ON THE PLATE
Our grill station on the quirky Langstrasse since 2013. On offer: classics of the Palestinian and Jewish street cuisine based on a family recipe.
Nowhere is Zurich’s Langstrasse livelier, nowhere are the guests more mixed: students, business people, mothers with children,
prostitutes, night owls and tourists. On top of hip-hop beats, we pile fried eggplant onto the Arab flatbread. In addition, tomato-cucumber-mint salad,
parsley, French fries, hard-boiled eggs and pickled kohlrabi. Rolled up with hummus, tahini sauce and amba, a sauce made from sweet and
sour pickled mango, and the Sabich is ready – a favourite on the streets of Tel Aviv.
And if an uproar takes over the Piazza Cella late in the evening, at least in your stomach, there will be peace.
